Lightwaves2020's thin film filter (TFF) based Ultra-Wide, Ultra
High Isolation band WDM provides greatly improved isolation (>45 dB)
and greater operational bandwidth (1310/1550) than typical WDM
couplers while providing optimal performance.
The TFF based WDM has the same ø5.5 x 40 mm cylindrical package as
conventional 3-port devices, saving on board space. With the addition
of a band splitter, an upgrade option is provided for legacy 1310/1550
nm systems in access, CATV and other networks that enables them to
expand their capacity through CWDM technology. |

Lightwaves2020 4-channel CWDM mux/demux product is only 50x31x8.8mm in
dimension! Utilizing Ligthwaves2020's proprietary free space TFF
technology, the product guarantees pass bandwidth of ± 7.5nm over -20
~ 70°C. The total insertion loss for all 4 CWDM channels is only ~
0.8dB, giving much more flexibility on loss budget to the system
designer. The product has wide applications in metro core and access
networks, enterprise, CATV, 3G wireless telephony, PON and FTTx
networks. The wide operating temperature range is particularly
suitable for outdoor applications.
Manufactured using low thermal drift filters and proprietary
packaging technologies, the 4-channel CWDM is designed to separate (demultiplex)
or combine (multiplex) four coarse WDM channels. The demultiplexer (demux)
modules are installed before the receivers in optical networks and the
multiplexer (mux) modules are installed after the transmitters. The
modules differ in that the demux modules require additional channel
isolation in order to obtain clear signals. Module configuration can
be custom-designed to meet specific system requirements. |

Lightwaves2020 8-channel CWDM demux/mux product is only 50x31x8.8mm in
dimension! Utilizing Ligthwaves2020's proprietary free space TFF
technology, the product guarantees pass bandwidth of ± 7.5nm over -20
~ 70°C. The total insertion loss for all 8 CWDM channels is only ~
1.2dB, giving much more flexibility on loss budget to the system
designer. The product has wide applications in metro core and access
networks, enterprise, CATV, 3G wireless telephony, PON and FTTx
networks. The wide operating temperature range is particularly
suitable for outdoor applications
Manufactured using low thermal drift filters and proprietary
packaging technologies, the 8-channel CWDM is designed to separate (demultiplex)
or combine (multiplex) eight coarse WDM channels. The demultiplexer (demux)
modules are installed before the receivers in optical networks and the
multiplexer (mux) modules are installed after the transmitters. The
modules differ in that the demux modules require additional channel
isolation in order to obtain clear signals. Module configuration can
