A geotextile equipped with optical fibres to measure strain and designed to increase the safety of civil engineering infrastructure.

Temperature

• TC-01 FBG Chain (capillary)

A chain of FBG sensors protected from stress by a stainless steel capillary. The length, number of sensing points and their spatial distribution can all be specified.

• TP-01 FBG Probe (capillary)

A single FBG sensor mounted in the end of a 3mm capillary can measure temperature with a resolution of 0.1°C and an accuracy of 1°C.

• TP-02 FBG Probe, High Accuracy (capillary)

Connectorised at both ends to enable series configurations and mounted in a 6mm capillary, a single FBG sensor can measure temperature with a resolution of 0.04°C and an accuracy of 0.4°C.

An FBG sensor is mounted in a sliding mechanism with spring loaded pin and is capable of measuring displacement up to 8cm with a resolution of 0.05% and an accuracy of 1% full scale and temperature.

Pressure

• P-01 FBG Non-Porous

Using the internal strain sensitivity of an FBG this sensor has a threaded head that can measure pressure in vessels, valves or pipelines.
