With the Individual Pressure Control system, pressure is applied
equally to each ferrule. High quality polishing is achievable
regardless of ferrule length difference. Polishing one plug or ferrule
alone without the need for dummy ferrules is also possible. |

PLCs and fibre arrays can be polished with a connector polishing
machine without using a large and expensive lapping machine. This
holder can be used with the SFP-550 family polishing machines. |

Conventionally, polishing straight ferrules with no flange requires
much labour, such as fixing each ferrule with a screw and V-groove
holder. Now, they can be polished in the same way as flanged ferrules
by attaching a special flange. APC polishing, which was not possible
before, can be performed by combining this holder with an IPC holder.
For PC polishing, the ferrule protrusion length can be managed easily
and polishing is simplified. A plastic flange is used so that it can
be installed and removed without causing damage to ferrules. |

The new portable polishing machine for removing end-face scratches
while keeping the ferrule end-face shape. The IPC holder enables
