Fibre To The Office (FTTO) is a concept that delivers high
performance, flexibility and ease of installation. BBN International
announces the introduction of the Microsens advanced FTTO solution

installing sometimes literally miles of structured cabling, single
fibres can services complete offices for both voice and data
communications. The Microsens FTTO system includes Gigabit and Fast
Ethernet switches and converters with network management functionality
for performance and manageability.
Ease of installation with single fibre back links to the central
switch and snap-in switches reduces initial costs. The extremely
compact switches snap-in to industry standard desk, wall, trunking and
floor boxes.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is provided on all connections to reduce
cabling and unnecessary power supplies. Injected locally at the
switch, power can be supplied to any number of devices that support
PoE including phones.
A fibre-optic network enables fast migration to new technologies
