The Microsens Enterprise Access family of fibre optic multiplexer,
demultiplexer, optical crossbar, media converter, bridge, switch and
SNMP gigabit modules can be installed in the Modular Enterprise
Chassis which supports 1, 2, 3, 14, 28 or 54 slots, 'hot-swap', power
redundancy and full management with advanced software. The
Enterprise Network range of Gigabit and Fast Ethernet switches, media
converters, hubs and bridges then provides a high performance
distribution mechanism within the office and/or factory including ring
redundancy and management in the same Modular Enterprise Chassis.
Using fibre optics to reach as far as the desk or factory automation
system, the Enterprise Network becomes future proof, very high
performance at a much lower cost than miles of structured copper
cabling. At the office or factory cell, Microsens Gigabit Ethernet
switches provide RJ-45 connections including full Power Over Ethernet
(POE), Quality of Service (QoS) support, automatic detection and
configuration, management and easy installation using desktop, clip-in
floor, wall or duct mounting modules and industrial rail-mounting, low
