Optical Interleavers are used to double DWDM channel densities by combining separate odd and even channels with 200, 100, 50GHz spacings.

D(Q)PSK Demodulators achieve high data rates over longer reach links and the latest modulation schemes such as the highly spectrally efficient PM-(D)(Q)PSK enable even faster rates over longer reaches.

90° Optical Hybrids for coherent signal demodulation provide both amplitude and relative phase information so that optical transmission impairments can be compensated in the electrical domain.
