Agiltron’s ILPM Series Fibre Optic Tap Power Monitors are used for in line power measurement. It is based on a patent pending design that taps light without breaking fibre continuity, bending fibre, using lens or optical coating. This provides industrial best performance in ultra-low loss, low polarisation and wavelength dependence, high directivity, variable tap ratios, as well as low cost and high reliability. The continuous fibre device is particularly suited for adapting to various types of fibre and for handling high power, meeting the most demanding power measurement applications. A miniature ceramic package houses a stable optical tap and PIN photodiode. GR1209 and GR1201 standard qualified.

The Power Monitor minimises component assembly costs and module footprint while increasing module design efficiency by facilitating fibre Management. The Power Monitor combines the functionality of an optical coupler and a photodiode while delivering low insertion loss and low dark current with high-temperature stability over a wide wavelength range. Our directional version works well from 1260nm to 1620nm band.
