LightBend PM and High Power Optical Switches

The LB series PM High Power 1x1, 1x2 fiber optic switch has a polarization-maintaining fiber switch, which connects optical channels by directing or blocking an incoming optical signal into the output fiber. This is achieved using a patent pending opto- machnical configuration and achieved via an electrical control signal. A latching version preserves the selected optical path after the drive signal has been removed, while the non-latching version defaults to either the open or close state when power is removed. The switches integrated electrical position sensors. The new material- based advanced design significantly reduces moving part position sensitivity, offering unprecedented high stability as well as an unmatched low cost. Electronic driver is available for this series of switches. The switch is bidirectional.BBN International supplies Agiltron, fibre optics, fiber optics, lightbend, 1x1, 1x2, pm, polarisation maintaining, high power, 10w, optical switch

The LB series 1x2 PM fiber optic switch is a polarization-maintaining fiber switch, which connects optical channels by directing or blocking an incoming optical signal into the output fiber. The LB series 1x1, 1x2 High Power OptoMechanical fiber optic switch can be configured as either a 1x1 switch or a 1x2 switch. Based on Agiltron’s patent pending, it can work in high optical power up to 10 W. The switch is driven by a pulsed electrical signal, and the latching operation preserves the selected optical path after the drive signal has been removed. Its integrated status contacts to provide an electrical readout of the switch position. It is designed for high optical power and some specific applications. Electronic driver is available for this series of switches. The switch is bidirectional.BBN International supplies Agiltron, fibre optics, fiber optics, 1x1, 1x2, lightbend, high power, optical switch, 10W
